Belgian adventurer Louis-Philippe Loncke has been added to the TEDxFlanders main event. He'll be speaking about his most recent exploration of Lake Titicaca in South America.
Loncke and Gadiel Sanchez Rivera spent 38 days in 2013 kayaking around the edge of Lake Titicaca, documenting the shores of one of the largest lakes in the world. The two men were the first in the world to kayak around the edge of the lake, which borders Peru and Bolivia.
Loncke is a fellow of the Explorers Club -- one of only two Belgians! -- and is an ambassador for the Jane Goodall Institute. When he's not exploring new territory or documenting new species, Loncke is a business consultant.
Loncke has also kayaked the length of the Vistula River in Poland, and spoke about it at TEDxWarsaw last year. Watch LouPhi's talk here:
